GI & Copper Earthing Strip Price in Bangalore

We don’t publish a price list, and we’ll tell you exactly why. Earthing material is priced off the metal markets — GI strip off steel, copper strip off copper — and those move continuously. Any fixed number printed on a web page is either stale or padded. What we do instead: you send the size and quantity, we send back the real rate for that day.

Typical reply: within the hour, during business hours (Mon–Fri 10:30–18:00, Sat 10:30–17:00).

What Actually Determines Your Rate

1 · The metal

The commodity price on the day

GI earthing strip is hot-dip galvanised mild steel, so it tracks the steel market. Copper strip tracks copper. This is the largest part of your rate and it is the part nobody — including us — controls.

2 · The size

Sold by weight, not by length

Strip is quoted per kilogram. Your total is kg-per-metre × total metres. A 50×6 mm GI strip is about 2.4 kg/m, so 100 m is roughly 240 kg. Work your own weight out with the strip weight calculator before you ask.

3 · The quantity

Volume changes the number

A 50 kg order and a 5-tonne order are not the same rate. Tell us the real quantity and the rate you get back reflects it.

4 · Included

MTC at no extra cost

A Material Test Certificate ships with every order — IS 2062 for GI. It is not a paid add-on, and you should be suspicious of any supplier who charges for one.

Send Us Three Things

Most enquiries take three messages back and forth because one of these is missing. Send all three and you’ll usually get a number in one reply.

  1. Size — e.g. 50×6 mm GI strip, or 25×3 mm copper.
  2. Quantity — in kg, or in metres and we’ll convert.
  3. Delivery location — the Bengaluru site or godown it goes to.

The WhatsApp button opens a message with the three blanks already in it — just fill them in.

Price Questions, Answered Straight

What is the price of GI earthing strip in Bangalore?
It is quoted per kilogram and moves with the steel market, so there is no fixed number that stays true for long. Send us the size, quantity and delivery location on WhatsApp and you’ll get the actual rate for that day, usually within the hour.
Why don’t you publish your prices?
Because a published price would be wrong within days, and we’d have to pad it to protect ourselves against the movement. You’d end up paying for that padding. Quoting live means you get the real market rate on the day you buy, not a cushioned number from last month.
Is earthing strip sold per kg or per metre?
By weight, in kilograms. Since you usually need a length, weight is kg-per-metre × total metres. 50×6 mm GI strip is roughly 2.4 kg/m — so 100 m is about 240 kg. Our strip weight calculator does this for you.
What is GI patti?
GI patti is simply the common trade name for GI earthing strip — hot-dip galvanised mild steel flat strip used as an earthing conductor. GI patti, GI flat and GI strip all mean the same thing. We stock it in 25×3 through 75×12 mm.
Do you charge extra for the test certificate?
No. The Material Test Certificate is issued with every order at no additional cost, referencing the applicable Indian Standard — IS 2062 for GI strip, IS 1897 for copper strip (dimensions), and IS 1239 for pipe.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Tell us what you need. We supply single-project quantities as well as bulk industrial orders — message us with the requirement and we’ll tell you straight away whether we can serve it.
