1. Itemised notice: data we collect
- Optional Google Analytics 4: only after you accept analytics cookies, Google receives an analytics identifier, IP/network information, approximate location derived from it, device/browser details, page URL, referrer, interaction timing, and our events for WhatsApp and telephone link clicks. We do not send your message content.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics and security: Cloudflare processes request metadata such as IP address, user agent, page and referrer to deliver, secure and provide cookieless aggregate analytics for the site. The analytics beacon does not set a cookie.
- Direct enquiries: this site has no HTML forms. If you choose WhatsApp, telephone or email, the contact details, message and associated metadata you provide are handled through Meta/WhatsApp, your telecom carrier or your email provider under their terms, and received by us for the enquiry.
- Consent record: your accepted/declined choice and time are kept in your browser's localStorage.
2. Why and how we use it
We use optional analytics to understand aggregate site use and improve content; security/request information to deliver and protect the site; and enquiry information to respond, prepare quotations, supply goods, keep accounts, meet tax/legal duties and resolve disputes. We do not sell personal data or use this site for targeted advertising.
3. Consent and withdrawal
Google Analytics remains off unless you choose Accept. Accept and Decline are equal choices. Withdraw or change consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Clearing site data also resets the choice. Necessary delivery and security processing cannot be disabled through this control.
4. Sharing and international processing
Data may be processed by Cloudflare, Google (only with analytics consent), Meta/WhatsApp when you choose that link, telecom/email providers, and professional advisers or authorities where necessary. Their infrastructure may process data outside India subject to their safeguards and applicable law. We do not permit these providers to receive more site data than described above.
5. Retention and security
The browser consent record expires after 180 days. GA4 retention is [CONFIRM: GA4 property retention setting]; Google cookies are listed in our Cookie Policy. Enquiry, quotation, invoice and transaction records are retained only as needed for the enquiry, warranty/dispute handling and statutory tax/accounting periods. We use reasonable security practices, access controls, HTTPS and restrictive browser security headers, but no system is risk-free.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask what personal data we hold, request correction or erasure, withdraw consent, nominate another person where the law permits, and raise a grievance. We may need to verify identity and retain records required by law.
This notice is intended to meet section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the SPDI Rules, 2011 and to be ready for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The DPDP Rules' substantive notice, consent and data-principal-rights obligations are scheduled to take effect on 13 May 2027; we will review this notice and our process before then.
